Meet Lori Hurst

What lights me up is knowing that I can help successful professional women grow their network marketing business to finally say goodbye to their corporate job.

My name is Lori, and I am a committed and proud marketer who provides education and tools to move from being an amateur to a professional in business.

One of my favorite quotes is by Francis of Assisi, “Start by doing what’s necessary, then do what’s possible and then suddenly you are doing the impossible”, which is the very reason we are in this type of business in the first place, to do what the average person think is impossible.

When I first had children I tried network marketing and now my children are nearing 40 years of age so that tells you how long I have dabbled in this stuff. This is me with my three daughters many years ago.

Over the years I joined so many different companies hoping to find the ‘opportune one’ that I have literally lost count.

And I was never able to succeed, and lucky if I made a sale or two to show for all my efforts. I did the challenging stuff such as going ‘door to door’ around the neighborhood.

One time I held a clothing party, and I invited 30 friends, and no one showed. I was so embarrassed that I compensated by buying several hundred dollars of stuff justifying that I was getting a discount.

Seriously an ineffective way to do business, and I truly hated how uncomfortable it made me.

I defaulted to dedicating my time working in various jobs and I thought I had ‘made it’ when I got hired as a professional social worker in government and converted my first home into a rental property.

I continued to grow professionally over the years. I became a certified executive coach, coaching leaders and teams and later became a third-party mediator resolving conflict in the workplace in an organization of 35,000.

As well, I continued to grow my real estate investments, acquiring five rental properties that all proved to be profitable.

Twenty-five years later, I was sitting in the accountant’s office, with a mortified pit in my stomach.

After all these years, the numbers crunched for the sale of the investment properties turned out to be lame. After paying taxes, legal, and the accountant fees there wasn’t going to be much left over.

Also, the pension I accumulated after all these years would be half or less by the time, I purchased the benefit packages.

My hope to finally build my dream home and do world travel evaporated in thin air.

I was deeply discouraged, felt misled, and frankly I was mad! I had no choice but to continue to work.

I resented getting nowhere satisfactorily and I knew something needed to change.

Once again, I decided to get back into network marketing. However, this time, I reached out to another exceptionally successful networker for advice.

He directed me to a training program that he highly regarded. This program is where I learned why I continuously failed in this business.

Essentially, I was never taught the exact skills required. I talked to as many people as I knew, starting with my list of 100 people and I was told that success was all about the numbers.

These sales tactics are exceptionally poor. Through mentorship, skill building and strategy sessions I was able to educate myself, build relevant skills, and have the knowledge needed to be successful.

Now, you can have these too.
